Sierra STEM is a nonprofit organization based in the Eastern Sierra that provides hands-on, place-based science, technology, engineering, and math education through immersive outdoor learning experiences. Founded in 2021, Sierra STEM partners with schools, educators, and community organizations to create programs that foster curiosity, critical thinking, resilience, and environmental stewardship. By using the Sierra Nevada as a living classroom, Sierra STEM inspires learners of all ages to engage deeply with science, collaborate meaningfully, and build a lasting connection to the natural world.
