June Mountain Ski and Snowboard Resort, spans a vertical rise of 2,590 feet with over 500 acres of runs. Six chairlifts, two of them high-speed quads, and a beginner surface lift serve a variety of terrain for all abilities. June is known for its unparalleled views along long tree-lined runs of gentle pitch, as well as challenging chutes and steeps for the experts, and a frequent abundance of powder snow. Carl Williams, General Manager and his staff, will do their best to ensure you a memorable skiing/riding experience. The mountain also boasts a top-notch terrain park department, creating jumps, rails and other freestyle features as well as a world-famous halfpipe. Top pro riders and olympic medalists can be spotted among the riders at June. Since 1962, the friendly family-style atmosphere along with less-crowded slopes, have made June Mountain a favorite among all ages and persuasions of snow sports enthusiasts. June's operating season typically runs from mid-December through mid-April.
Sports School Under the direction of Carl Underkoffler, Certified and Professional Ski and Snowboard staff are on hand to help with your own technique, or to bring the kids up on the snow with a solid learning foundation. There is a flexible schedule for private lessons, a specialty, and group lessons are held twice per day for all abilities. June Mountain Sports School is a PSIA/AASI member school.
Chalet Sports Shop Featuring necessities and luxuries including ski and snowboard accessories and apparel, helmets, hats, goggles, wax and gloves. Chalet Cafe Dining, Stewpot Slim's and the Antler Bar Lenny Yee and the Food and Beverage crew at June Mountain will offer you quality standard fare as well as great daily specials. The Chalet Cafe is a favorite stop for breakfast before hitting the slopes. Lunch may also be enjoyed at the Chalet, or Sandwiches and Soups are available up at the "Stewpot Slim's" daylodge at the base of Chair #7. Outdoor barbecues may be enjoyed on weekends. In the afternoons, or for Apres' enjoyment, try your favorite hot or cold beverage at the famous Antler Bar in the Chalet Dining Area, Ask about reserving the Chalet Dining Room in the evening for your group or banquet dinner.
Race Camps Consider scheduling your training at June Mountain: a variety of good terrain exists for SL, GS, and the experienced grooming crew can also create custom course features to meet your special training requirements. Take advantage of the group rate program for your team or organization.
Rental and Repair Shop June's Rental Shop features a fine selection of standard as well as demo ski and snowboard equipment, and the knowledgeable repair staff will help you with your equipment problems, or perhaps fill your need for a professional tuning or waxing job.
